Soulful Sequoians marked their transition to elementary with calm maturity. Congratulations!

Longtime bus driver, Ichikawa-san, is retiring this year and Willow class surprised him with a grand heartfelt goodbye. It's a testament to his skills that we take for granted the years of safety and reliability that we entrusted to him. From leaving his home at 4am every morning for the morning bus, to ferrying families on the weekends to special events, from repairing staircases to fixing everything, Ichikawa-san has been a guardian angel for our community.

The people have spoken. MST has a mascot. Let's go Sparrowhawks!

Middle schoolers are on their weeklong Odyssey in the Izu islands unplugging from technology and plugging into lava fields, breathtaking sunsets, endless stars and time to connect as a community.

Hazel athletes enjoyed a sports day with parents, exuberantly playing games and solving challenges on a balmy morning.

Elementary environmentalists organized and ran an Earth Day Celebration with a lot of loving support from faculty, parents and grandparents. Sustainability, conservation, recycling, saving giant salamanders, and walking lightly on our planet were all themes of the community event.

Congratulations to Kano, our 2026 MST Spelling Bee champion!

Wondrous wordsmiths went a record 40 rounds at the MST Spelling Bee, nearly double the previous lexical marathon. Two close friends dueled at the end for a dozen rounds that could have gone either way. Well done everyone for a thrilling celebration of language!

Happy Earth Day from HEAL, the student sustainability group! Our environmentalists attended a talk this morning on our relationship to animals, a topic of great interest to our kids.
