Our FLIST Spring Explorers said hello to the Sakura season! They learned about Hanami, practiced moving like falling cherry blossom petals, flew like a butterfly to create a sakura petal number chain, and rested with cherry blossoms to finish their dance🌸☘️✨

Our FLIST students love circle time! Kids have circle time every morning and afternoon. Circle time allows our students to improve their motor coordination through dance, practice their English and communication skills by singing, learn resilience and self-confidence through positive affirmations, and understand the passing of time by practicing the days of the week and months of the year☀️🌈✨🌷

Our FLIST students welcomed the new season with fun springy activities! They helped draw and create lovely door designs for our spring decorations, they practiced matching flowers and spring objects like peppers and strawberries by color, they learned all about Japan’s beautiful Sakura flower, how rainbows are formed, and they learned about their 5 senses through different images of spring activities🌸✨🌷

FLIST students continued practicing to be animal rescuers by learning about the arctic ocean. They learned about the different animals that live there, the icy habitat that the animals live in, and what can happen to the arctic when it gets too warm❄️🐻‍❄️🐧⛄️

FLIST students were all smiles as they got to explore the flowery fields of Mother Farm. The kids had a fun trip down on the bus singing all their favorite songs. They loved getting to pet the sheep and bunnies, feed the horses, watch the capybaras sleep, have a picnic, and watch a wonderful shepard show performed by the wonderful staff at Mother Farm. Thank you to Mother Farm for welcoming our students for the day🐎🐏🐇🐐🐄⛰️✨🍀

FLIST students learned what it is like to be animal rescuers! They learned about how harmful pollution can be to animals and their habitats. They practiced cleaning a makeshift river to make animals safe and thought of ways they could fix the pollution in different habitats🦒🦓🐬🐠🦧🌏✨

The theme of this month is Animal Rescuers! To get familiar with the kinds of animals in the world FLIST students made animal headbands, sorted animals by habitats, and learned about what animals made what sounds 🐅🐘🦒🦓✨

FLIST students had a blast at International week! They got to learn about Vietnam, New Zealand, Italy, South Africa, and Panama. They got to cook and eat some local delicacies, make fun arts and crafts of traditional items in each country, and learn about their respective cultures.
