He’s such a hard-working student. As far as I know, he has shown the most remarkable improvement in Japanese language!
When we first met, I honestly couldn’t understand about 20% of his Japanese🤭! The last time we met, I still had to choose basic words and speak slowly. But this time, finally, I didn’t have to take care my Japanese at all. It felt just like talking with a Japanese friend. Isn’t that amazing?

Moments like this are exactly why I love my job, so much fun.🌷

I went to a lovely bar 🥂 with my student who is moving to Europe for work, the entertainer-like student who introduced him to me, and his girlfriend.

I used to think I didn’t like gin🍸. It always tasted too strong and unpleasant to me. But they taught me that it wasn’t that I disliked gin — I just had never tried a truly good one.😮‍💨

The lavender-flavoured gin I had there was absolutely delicious. I was super surprised, thinking, “Wait… this is gin?” It completely changed my impression.

I even received a luxurious bottle of wine from Santa Barbara as a gift — such a wonderful surprise.

It was a beautiful night filled with laughter, good company, and new discoveries. ✨🥂

I made miso using Akebono soybeans, a rare local brand that has been grown in my town Yamanashi, for over 100 years.
Once you try this miso, you won’t want to eat any other kind — it’s that good!! 🧡🩵
The miso we made today now needs to rest and ferment for a while, and it should be ready around October. I can’t wait to try it!🤤

Every day, they “march out” at Okazaki Castle to welcome visitors and perform demonstrations, teaching us about Okazaki’s history and samurai culture. They even speak exactly like real sh**uns!😆
