Term Aもいよいよ後半に入り、Final Examの時期が近づいてきました！

Week 11には、これまで学んだ内容の理解度を確認するためのテストを実施します🖋✨
今年度入塾された皆さんにとっては初めてのテストですね。
自信を持って挑めるように、お家でTerm Aの内容をしっかり復習しておきましょう🌱

また、Reading Showではみんなの前で英語を読む発表を行います📖✨
緊張を吹き飛ばせるくらい、たくさん練習してきてくださいね♪
これからも一緒に楽しく、そして大きく成長していきましょう🌳✨

【Final Exam & Reading Show Announcement】

We are now in the second half of Term A, and the Final Exam is just around the corner!

In Week 11, we will have a test to check your understanding of what you’ve learned so far 🖋✨
For students who joined us this year, this will be your first exam.
Make sure you review everything from Term A at home so you can feel confident and do your best 🌱

We will also have a Reading Show, where you will read a passage in front of your classmates 📖✨
Practice as much as you can so you can overcome your nerves and shine!

【こどもの日 Children’s Day Activity】(English follows.)

みなさんこんにちは！
だんだんと暑くなり、初夏の陽気になってきましたね☀️
授業には水筒を忘れずに持参し、こまめな水分補給で熱中症対策をしっかり行いましょう！

さて、今週は5月に実施したSpecial Review Time Activityをご紹介します🌟
5月5日のこどもの日にちなんで、Children’s Day Activityを行いました🎏

EXコースでは、未来の自分へ手紙を書いたり、子どもから大人へ伝えたいメッセージを英語で作成したりしました。ESコースでは、こどもの日に関連する問題を解いたり、折り紙でこいのぼりを作ったりなどを通してこどもの日をお祝いしました。✨

J PREP Kidsでは、季節にちなんだSpecial Review Time Activityを定期的に実施しています。
次はどんなアクティビティが待っているかな？

Today, we’d like to tell you about our Special Review Time in May 🌟
In celebration of Children’s Day on May 5th, we held a fun Children’s Day themed Review Time🎏

In our EX courses, students did various writing tasks. Our EX students wrote letters to their future selves and our EX280 classes wrote letters to adults telling them what they would like to change in the world. In our ES courses, students enjoyed making origami carp streamers (koinobori).

Through these activities, they celebrated the spirit of Children’s Day ✨

At J PREP Kids, we regularly hold Special Review Time Activities that reflect each season.

大人気の４日間のAll-Englishクラスで、今年もTheme A,Bの2つの日程で異なるテーマを行います✨
Theme A: Around World
一緒に世界を旅しよう！たくさんの国の物語やお祭り、ゲームを楽しもう！
Theme B: Explore Your Creativity!
英語×アート！どうやって自分のアイディアを表現できるかな？クラフトや絵で自分の「そうぞうりょく（creativity）」を広げよう！
説明や制作など、英語を「聞いて理解する力」を育むチャンス！普段の授業では登場しない単語にも触れることができますよ!

🌟英検対策講座／フォニックスキャッチアップ講座／ES030キャッチアップ講座／Writing講座
日本語での解説を中心に進めていきます。学習目的やコース内容に合わせてお申し込みください。キャッチアップ講座は、普段の授業でつまずきやすいポイントを丁寧に楽しく解説します。

Hello everyone!
We’re excited to share information about the special summer courses offered at J PREP Kids✨

🌟 Summer Classes
This year, we will offer two different classes: Theme A and B✨

Theme A: Around the World
Let’s travel around the world together! Enjoy stories, festivals, and games from many different countries!
Theme B: Explore Your Creativity!
English × Art! How can you express your ideas?
Expand your imagination and creativity through crafts, drawing, and communication!

These classes are conducted entirely in English.
Through games and crafts, students will have many opportunities to develop their ability to listen to, understand, and use English! They will also be introduced to new language and activities that don’t usually appear in regular classes to improve communication skills.

🌟EIKEN® Preparation Course / Phonics Catch‑Up Course / ES030 Catch‑Up Course / Writing Course
These courses will be taught with explanations in mainly Japanese.
Please choose the course that best fits your learning goals and needs.
The catch‑up courses focus on carefully and enjoyably reviewing areas that students often find challenging in regular classes.

📌 Details are available in the announcement emails and on posters at each campus.
📌 Summer Classes and EIKEN® Preparation Courses are for J PREP Kids students only. Non‑enrolled students are not eligible to participate.
📌 For J PREP Kids students, detailed information was sent via email on Wednesday, May 6.

みなさんこんにちは📣 本日はEXコースのSpeaking Activityについてご紹介します📮

英語で学んだ建物を組み合わせて、自分だけのマップを作成します！
その後はクラスのみんなで、「どんな街を作ったか」を英語で紹介します🏠
単数形や複数形を交えながら、自分で作った街についてしっかり発表することができました🏢

身近なことに英語を取り入れながら、どんどん語彙力を増やしていきましょう🌱

Today, we’d like to tell you about a Speaking Activity from one of our EX courses 📮
Students created their own original maps by with buildings that they have learned about in English!
After that, they presented their maps in English and explained what kind of town they created to their classmates 🏠
Using both singular and plural forms, they did a great job confidently presenting their own towns 🏢

Let’s continue to increase our vocabulary by incorporating English into our everyday lives 🌱

It’s getting warmer, and it’s starting to feel like spring! This week, we’d like to introduce our “What Can I Be(e)?” activity from Review Time! 🐝
Our students followed English origami instructions and created their own bees with something they want to be written on the wings! Some chose to display them around the school🌸

“I can be ___!”

There were many words they could choose from to express what they wanted to be.
Please encourage your child to practice saying their ideas at home, too🌱 We will continue to explore English through fun activities and crafts 😉

さて今週は、Spring Classのご紹介です☺
J PREP Kidsでは春期講習イベントとして、4日間のSpring Classを各校舎で実施しました🌟

今回のテーマは、
🦕 きょうりゅうの世界
🚀 宇宙
❄ 北極と南極
🌴 ねったい雨林

さまざまなアクティビティやクラフトを通して、
世界のめずらしい場所や、そこに住む動物・人々について学びました。

たくさんの冒険や実験を通して、新しい発見はあったかな？
チームで協力し合いながら楽しむ姿や、素敵な笑顔がたくさん見られました☺

J PREP Kidsでは、季節ごとにSeasonal Eventを実施しています。
毎回異なるテーマを学び、普段の授業とは少し違った環境で英語に触れられる、とても良い機会です！

次回は夏期講習のSummer Classです✨
夏もみなさんと一緒に、楽しく英語を学べるのを楽しみにしています！

Week 4に入り、少しずつ授業の環境には慣れてきましたか？

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and it truly feels like spring is here 🌸

This week, we’d like to tell you about our Spring Class☺
At J PREP Kids, we held a four‑day Spring Class as part of our Spring Program at each campus 🌟

The themes this time were:
🦕 The World of Dinosaurs
🚀 Outer Space
❄ The Arctic and Antarctica
🌴 Tropical Rainforests

Through a variety of activities and crafts students learned about unique places around the world, as well as the animals that live there.
We saw many wonderful smiles as students worked together as a team and had fun ☺
For those of you who joined us, what did you learn through your adventures and experiments?

At J PREP Kids, we offer Seasonal Events throughout the year.
Each event has a different theme and provides students a great opportunity to experience English in a setting different from their regular classes!

Our next program will be our Summer Classes ✨
We’re already looking forward to speaking English together and having lots of fun again this summer!

Now that we’re in Week 4, it's great to see our students feel comfortable in class!
Let’s keep working hard together, little by little, in every lesson ☺

みなさん、こんにちは📣
3月から新しいクラスがスタートし、早くも1か月が経ちました🌱

少しずつ新しい環境やクラスの流れにも慣れてきて、教室内では元気な「Hello！」の声が聞こえるようになってきました✨

さて、初回授業Week 0のReview Timeでは、自分の名前をアルファベットで書き、同じ音から始まるモノを描いてみよう！というアクティビティを行いました🖋（ES010/ES015/ES020）
自分の名前をアルファベットで書けたあと、「同じ音で始まる単語はあるかな？」と、一生懸命考える姿がとても印象的でした🌸

校舎もすっかり春色に染まり、4月から生活スタイルが変わる方も多い季節ですね🌼
体調に気をつけながら、これからも一緒に楽しく頑張っていきましょう🚩

A month has already passed since our new classes started in March
Day by day, everyone is getting used to the new environment and class routines!
We’re now hearing cheerful voices saying “Hello!” throughout the classrooms. During our Week 0 Review Time, students worked on writing the letters in their names and drawing something that starts with each letter 🖋
(ES010/ES015/ES020)

It was so impressive to see them thinking hard and asking, “Are there any words that start with the letters in my name?”

Spring is just around the corner, and our schools have been decorated to match the colors of spring!
April is a time when people experience many changes in their daily lives. Let’s continue having fun and doing our best together while taking care of our health 🚩
