Dear conference participants,

Welcome to IC3 conference.
It is about 4 days to the start of the IC3 2019 conference. Here is the local information to be shared among participants.

First of all, this conference is co-located with another conference, CollabTech 2019 (International Conference on Collaboration Technologies and Social Computing), and the following events are jointly held.
- Welcome reception
- Opening session
- Keynote talks (both days)
- Banquet
- Coffee breaks
- Poster session
This would be a good opportunity to expand our relationship to the CollabTech 2019 community.

Here is more about the local information.

- Conference venue
Kyoto Research Park (KRP) is located near Tambaguchi station of JR Sagano Line. Tambaguchi station will be the second stop by taking a local train from JR Kyoto station. Please be careful NOT to take a RAPID train which will not stop at Tambaguchi station.

- Registration desk
Registration desk will open on the 4th floor at building #1 in the east block at Kyoto Research Park. You can pick up your conference kit from 8:30 on September 3rd, and from 8:30 on September 4th and 5th. If you arrive at the venue after 17:30 on September 3rd, please directly come to the restaurant Patio on the 1st floor of the same building for the welcome reception.

- Conference rooms
Please bring your own PC for your presentation. Connection test will be possible during the coffee/lunch break between sessions. Wireless Internet access is available in all conference rooms.

- Weather
Kyoto is still in summer weather, 25 degrees Celsius low to 32 degrees Celsius high. According to the weather forecast, light rain is expected during the conference dates.
