Ritsumeikan Summer & Winter Japanese Program

In 2024RWJP, as part of Japan Study, we conducted calligraphy sessions. Participants, whether beginners or those already familiar with calligraphy, experienced the art at their own level. The instructor is a well-known figure who applies calligraphy to Pokémon posters. Participants learned calligraphy techniques and calmly wrote each stroke with care. After finishing their pieces, they stamped them with their handmade seals. It wasn't about skill, but about the time spent facing one's inner self.

清水寺の八坂の塔にて。This is a very popular photo spot near Kiyomizu-dera called Yasaka no tou.

The third picture is a Starbucks disguised as a 町屋machiya (old traditional houses).

If you would like to visit here, look up the area 二寧坂 Ninenzaka or 清水寺Kiyomizu dera.
