Singapore Day 2 and 3
子どもたちが英語を使いながら、日常の中でたくさんの「初めて」に挑戦！
プール遊びや街の探検、公共交通の利用や買い物など、どれもが学びの場。リンクスカードの購入やMRTの乗車も、自分たちの力でやり遂げる姿に、頼もしさを感じました。
夜には、子どもたちの発案でお菓子パーティを開催。1日の出来事を振り返りながら、自然と英語での会話が生まれ、笑顔が広がる時間となりました。
セントーサ島での冒険では、地図を読み、目的地を決め、トラムや電車を乗りこなす姿に、成長の足跡がしっかりと刻まれていました。
それぞれが選んだ体験を通して、英語が「教科」ではなく「生きる力」として根づいていく様子を、そっと見守ることができたことは、私たち教師にとっても大きな喜びでした🥲
This overseas journey was filled with firsts—each one embraced with courage, curiosity, and a growing sense of independence.
From splashing in the pool to exploring the city, our students used English in real-life situations: buying Lynx cards, navigating the MRT, and communicating while shopping. These everyday moments became powerful lessons.
In the evening, they surprised us with a sweet idea—a snack party to reflect on the day’s adventures. Their laughter and English conversations filled the room with warmth and joy.
On Sentosa Island, they read maps, chose their own paths, and confidently rode trams and trains. Whether diving into the aquarium or relaxing by the pool, each child found their own way to learn, explore, and connect.
As teachers, we stood nearby—not to lead every step, but to gently guide and cheer them on. Watching them grow into capable, expressive young explorers was a quiet, beautiful reward.
