<What is OECD?> OECD(Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, 経済協力開発機構)は、世界中の人々の経済や社会福祉の向上に向けた政策を推進するために活動を行っている国際機関です。 The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) promotes 'policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world' (source: OECD website). <OECD at 一橋> OECD Tokyo CentreのStudent Ambassadorsが、一橋大学内外でOECDの周知活動を行っています。 半年の活動期間の中で、機関やOECDが提供するデータiLibraryの紹介を主軸に、国際機関でのキャリアや女性の社会進出をテーマにした講演会やイベントも開催する予定です。 We are Student Ambassadors to Hitotsubashi appointed by the OECD Tokyo Centre, aiming at publicising the institution in/outside of the campus. During the 6-month term of office, we are planning to have open lectures and other events to get people to know the organisation and its online database, iLibrary. The career event projects are also in progress for those interested in female career development and working at international organisations, so stay updated!
