We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake, and express our heartfelt sympathy to everyone affected by the disaster.

At IRCMS, we are continuing our research activities while carrying out inspections of our facilities and ensuring the safety of the research environment.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to all those affected by the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake.

At IRCMS, we are currently assessing the impact on research activities and the condition of our facilities, while taking necessary measures.

The 140th IRCMS Seminar was held via Zoom on July 24, 2026.

On July 21, 2026, Director-General Yuichi Inoue from the Cabinet Office for Science, Technology and Innovation Policy visited IRCMS.

Guided by Vice Directors Miharada and Takahashi, Director-General Inoue received an overview of IRCMS and its research activities, toured the Center's research facilities, and exchanged views on the current research environment at IRCMS.
