School Interview Preparation Classes to International schools for English as a second language (Revised)

We want to let our Children to GET INTO a TOP INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL in Tokyo WITH TOYOSU KIDS ENGLISH
The school interview is an integral part of nearly every school's admissions process in Tokyo. With the right approach and the right kind of preparation, the interview can be a successful experience for the children.

We hope our teacher can help children of 4-5 year-old to prepare for individual and group interviews for entry into the schools.
We also hope you as a teacher to build confidence to children so that the school interview is a fun experience!

So, we encourage teachers on following issues.
•Equip children with the skill sets that are required to succeed both in a group interview and school life.
•Help children build on their social skills through fun games and dynamic group activities.
•Focus on children’s speaking and listening skills and observe how well they interact with peers.
•Aim to bring out the ‘naturalness’ in each child so they perform their best.
•Have expertise in advising parents about school admissions.

The degrees of teachers of English, English Literature, Education, Early Childhood Education and Drama will be definitely plus.
The number of children in each class is limited to no more than six.

What is ‘Interview Skills’ training?
At Toyosu Kids Englis our courses include (among other things):
• Manners and positive interaction with others
• approaching others in socially acceptable ways
• asking for permission before acting
• sharing toys/materials

Age-Appropriate skills
• reading skills
• focusing on tasks
• following directions
• reasoning skills
• observational testing

Classroom Activities
• story telling
• picture description
• draw & tell & Show & tell
• literacy & numeracy games & activities

Mock Interviews
All students should participate in mock interviews at the end of every month which are conducted in a similar way to the real interviews. Parents receive feedback on their child’s performance.

The teacher should be able to teach once or twice a week (Mon to Fri) on weekdays from 3pm to 6pm and/or on Saturdays in the morning or in the afternoon for three hours on various subjects in English to 4 year old children at Toyosu, Koto-Ku, Tokyo.

We are looking for......
-a candidate who has experience and/or degree on early leaning education preferably either in UK, USA, Canada or Australia.
-a candidate who have been educated in above countries for at least 10 years.
-a candidate whose children are/were studying at well known international schools in Japan or in any other countries in the world.

Classes should be taught by qualified English Speaking Teachers

Most of the Toyosu Kids English teachers are considered to be highly educated English Speakers. The degrees of teachers should include English, English Literature, Education, Early Childhood Education and Drama.

Small Class Sizes

The type of class at Toyosu Kids English: Small group sessions and One-on-One classes.

Our small group classes are student centered and we ensure that each student in the class is an active participant and given optimal attention by the teacher. The number of children in each class is limited to no more than six.

Our small group classes should allow teaches to monitor student behavior carefully and circulate around the room to listen and observe groups in action.

Toyosu Kids English is urgently looking for a qualified and an experienced Native English Teacher from UK, USA, Canada or Australia who can teach twice a week(Mon to Fri) from 3pm to 6pm on various subjects in English to 4 year old children at Toyosu, Koto-Ku, Tokyo.

-a candidate who enjoys teaching small children.
-a candidate who has experience and/or degree on early leaning education preferably either in US or in England.

Applicants should be friendly with a strong passion for teaching small children. Experienced teachers are preferred. Average number of students in each class is 2-3, and 6 is the maximum.
And, the three hours will be divided into four 40 minutes class with 20 minutes break in the middle.
We are located at 12 minutes walk from Toyosu, Yurakucho-line.
We will provide very competitive compensation.
We can support your visa if you satisfy the conditions on working hours or experience.
