My long-awaited dream has finally come true—I’m finally in Nepal!

I usually work with Nepali students in Japan, but being here and experiencing their country, culture, and daily life firsthand has already taught me so much.

Since I don’t understand the language, I often feel like a baby who cannot communicate. This experience has made me realize even more deeply how anxious and uncertain my students must have felt when they first arrived in Japan.

I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can from this trip and using those lessons to become a better educator. 🇳🇵✨

こんにちは！
Today is Shōwa no Hi, 昭和の日（しょうわのひ）, or Shōwa Day - a national holiday in Japan. It falls on April 29, the birthday of Emperor Shōwa.
昭和 (しょうわ) - "Shōwa" is the name of the era (1926–1989) during Emperor Shōwa’s reign.
日 (ひ) - Day.
According to the law, the purpose of this holiday is to "reflect on the Shōwa era, which experienced turbulent times and achieved recovery, and to consider the future of the nation."
Shōwa Day is also part of Golden Week (ゴールデンウィーク), a series of national holidays that make up one of Japan’s longest vacation periods.

こんにちは！

Today, 3月20日, is a national holiday in Japan — Vernal Equinox Day（春分の日・しゅんぶんのひ）.

Let’s break down the kanji:

春（しゅん, shun） — spring
分（ぶん, bun） — division
→ 春分（しゅんぶん） — the division of spring (the equinox)

日（ひ / にち, hi / nichi） — day
→ 春分の日 — Vernal Equinox Day

This day marks the moment when day and night are almost equal in length. It is also a time to appreciate nature and welcome the coming of spring 🌸

In Japan, many people visit family graves and spend time quietly with their families on this day.

ご卒業おめでとうございます！！！！！！

On March 13, 2026, we held the Graduation Ceremony for students of the 2-year and 1.5-year Advanced Japanese Language Course.
This was only the second graduation ceremony in the history of our young school, and we are incredibly proud to congratulate all of our graduates!

There were so many emotions, heartfelt words, and expressions of gratitude. We are truly going to miss you!
