Today's lesson focused on the water cycle. Students learned about the stages of the water cycle and discussed where water comes from and how it moves through nature. As a hands-on activity, they created a “water cycle in a bag”.I explained that by placing the bags on a sunny window, they will be able to observe the water cycle in action over the next few days.
We began the lesson with our daily routine by reviewing the days of the week, months of the year, and feelings. Students were then challenged to identify letter sounds and apply their phonics knowledge by spelling **CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words**. We also practiced reading simple CVC sentences using the sentence patterns “He has," "She has," and "It has."To conclude the lesson, students practiced reading and writing the sentence **"I have a..."** to reinforce sentence structure and writing skills.
