A Loopy resident and still young in the game, he’s already making serious waves. Since moving to Osaka, it’s hard to find a flyer without his name on it. Beyond the decks, he’s been actively organizing parties across Kobe and Osaka through Voicing, building his own lane while pushing the scene forward.
His personality comes through loud in his sets—bouncy, bass-heavy, club-ready energy, layered with modern house grooves that keep things moving and playful.

Mightwhales is a resident DJ and organizer of Satellite—a highly regarded Osaka party at the core of the region’s underground scene—and a former co-organizer of the event and label Perfect Touch.
Active across Western Japan since 2010, he’s known for deeply curated, genre-fluid sets, drawing from jazz, funk, ’80s disco/R&B, and the global beat scene—moving seamlessly from introspective, melodic spaces to sweat-driven, groove-heavy dancefloor energy.
Alongside organizing events and tours throughout Japan, he has shared lineups with artists including Gilles Peterson, Shigeto, Mad Mats, D**o, Soichi Terada, Aroop Roy, Flako, Photay, Starro, Free the Robots, Pinch, Kan Sano, Aoki Takamasa, Anchorsong, Yoshihiro Okino, Dazzle Drums, and Seiho.
Mightwhalesは、大阪拠点のパーティー「Satellite」のレジデントDJ兼オーガナイザーであり、関西アンダーグラウンドシーンを語る上で欠かせない存在。イベント／レーベル「Perfect Touch」の元共同主催者でもある。
