✨Support for International Students’ Job Hunting
Our campus has a Career Center that provides valuable job-hunting information and seminar updates. ✨You can also receive one-on-one
counseling (in Japanese only) from professional advisors.🥰
To find employment in Japan, strong Japanese language skills are essential—typically at the JLPT N1 or N2 level.⚠️
If you prefer counseling in English, we can introduce you to external support services.
Feel free to reach out anytime!🌸🌿
If you’re considering working in Japan after graduation, start preparing as early as your first year. Your future starts now ✨👍👍👍

🌸New Students’ Move-in🌸
Over 50 new GBC April enrollment students moved into the dorm at the end of March! ✨
They seemed a bit nervous on move-in day, but after orientation and the welcome party, smiles quickly took over 😊🌸🌿
At GBC, living in the dorm during the first year is an important part of the curriculum.
One year may feel short, but it’s a valuable opportunity to develop global awareness, communication skills, and teamwork.👍👍
Wishing you all an amazing journey ahead—both on campus and in dorm life!
Make the most of every moment and enjoy this new chapter to the fullest!!🌸🌿🌸🌿🙏🥰
We’re cheering for you!

🌸Spring break is here—how is everyone spending their time? 🌸
Last Saturday, one of the RAs visited and interviewed the Kyudo (Japanese archery) club, which includes several GBC students, and we’re
excited to introduce them to you.
On campus, there is a traditional Japanese Kyudo range where members practice regularly.🏹🏹
Dressed in their Kyudo uniforms, they calm their minds, focus deeply, and release a single arrow. It’s truly impressive to watch.
Some members only started Kyudo after entering university, and some international students are also part of the club!🩵🩷
The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and it reminded us how special club activities can be.
Psychologist Arthur Aron created the “36 Questions” experiment, designed to help strangers become close in a short time. But sometimes, it starts much simpler.
Showing up to a club activity, practicing together,
laughing between sessions.
That is how connections grow🫶✨
Are you part of a club yet?
If you want diverse friendships and meaningful memories, joining a club might just be your first step.👍👍👍

Warmer days have been continuing lately, and it feels like spring is just around the corner 🌸
At our campus, exams have finished and spring break has officially begun.
As the weather gets warmer, more people may choose to go out by bicycle 🚲
However, in recent years, bicycle accidents have been increasing, and traffic rules for cyclists have become stricter.
⚠️⚠️⚠️Starting this April, a new penalty fine system will be introduced, and traffic enforcement by the police is expected to become more strict.
⚠️International students from different countries may have different rules in their home countries, but while living in Japan, it is necessary to
follow Japanese traffic rules.
When riding a bicycle, please follow the rules and always ride safely.
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
Examples of violations subject to fines starting in April:
• Using a mobile phone while riding: ¥12,000
• Ignoring traffic signals: ¥6,000
• Using earphones while riding:¥5,000
• Ignoring stop signs:¥5,000
• Riding without lights at night: ¥5,000
• Riding double or side-by-side: ¥3,000
Everyone’s awareness helps create a safer community.🚲🩵🚲🩵🚲🩵🚲🩵🚲🩵
Have a safe and enjoyable spring break 🌿

🩵Snowy Campus❄️
*This post is by Global House RAs.
Yesterday’s cold wave covered our campus in a beautiful blanket of snow.❄️❄️
The Global House students were so excited, laughing and playing outside.
We even found an adorable little snowman someone had made.
For some of our international students, this might have been their very first snowfall.🩵
The whole campus sparkled more than usual.✨
