Q: What is a sunao mind?
A: A sunao mind (untrapped mind) is one that serves to grasp the truth.
A sunao mind is not simply a matter of obedience. Rather, sunao in the true sense is much more powerful and positive.
In other words, a sunao mind is one that tries to see things as they are, without being preoccupied with anything and without having your self-mind. Possessing such a mind, we will have the ability to grasp the reality or truth of things. In other words, a sunao mind serves to grasp the truth, that is, the law of nature or law of the universe.
When we are sunao-minded, we can distinguish what we should do and what we shouldn’t do and we can naturally know what we need to do without failing to distinguish right from wrong. By becoming sunao-minded, you can be strong, correct and wise and understand the law of nature that leads to “seisei hatten.”
