～ネパール出張に行ってきました！～

カトマンズとポカラにある日本語学校13校を訪問し、これから日本へ留学したいと考えているネパール人の学生たちに向けて学校説明会を行いました。現地の日本語学校の先生やご担当者とも直接お会いして意見交換をするなど、とても貴重な時間になりました。

日本留学は日本語の勉強だけでなく、異なる文化環境の中で生活するのも大きな課題の一つです。異文化を勉強するのは、留学生のみなさんだけではなく、支援する先生たちもしなければならないことだと考えます。直接みなさんの国へ行って、みなさんの生活を間近に感じることができて、とてもよい勉強になりました。
　
開成アカデミー日本語学校兵庫川西校では現在、2027年4月期生を募集しております。日本へ留学したいと真剣に考えている各国の学生のみなさんのご応募をお待ちしております。

Business Trip to Nepal!
I visited 13 Japanese language schools in Kathmandu and Pokhara, where I held information sessions for students who are hoping to study in Japan in the future. It was a truly valuable experience to meet local teachers and staff in person and exchange ideas directly.

Studying in Japan is not only about learning the Japanese language—it also means adapting to a completely different cultural environment. I believe that understanding different cultures is essential not only for international students, but also for the teachers who support them. Being able to visit your country and see your daily life up close was an important learning opportunity for us as well.

Kaisei Academy Japanese Language School Hyogo Kawanishi Campus is currently accepting applications for the April 2027 intake. We look forward to receiving applications from motivated students around the world who are seriously considering studying in Japan.

P.S. Our teachers absolutely loved Thakali, a traditional Nepali dish. We hope to go back and enjoy it again someday.

課外活動で大阪市立防災センター「あべのタスカル」に行ってきました😊
地震や火事が起きたときにどう行動すればよいのかを学び、公衆電話での火災通報や消火器の使用、煙の中を歩く避難体験などに挑戦しました！
みんな真剣に話を聞きながらも、防災クイズでは楽しみながら学ぶことができました✨

We visited the Osaka Municipal Disaster Prevention Center, Abeno Tascal, as part of an extracurricular activity 😊

The students learned how to respond during earthquakes and fires through a variety of hands-on experiences, including making an emergency fire report using a public phone, using a fire extinguisher, and navigating through a smoke-filled evacuation area.

Everyone listened attentively and actively participated throughout the program. They also had a great time learning through the disaster prevention quiz! ✨

After learning about Tanabata, our students wrote their own wishes on tanzaku (wish strips)! 🎋
Although many found writing vertically a little challenging, everyone did a wonderful job and created beautiful tanzaku. ⭐

学生だけでなく先生たちも、それぞれの国の民族衣装で登校するイベントを開催しました！
2回目ということもあり、前回とは違う衣装で参加してくれた学生も♪
民族衣装で授業をすると、いつもよりみんな集中している気が…？😂

~2nd Traditional Costume Day~🌍
Not only students but also teachers came to school wearing traditional outfits from various countries!
Since it was the second time, some students showed up in different outfits from the last event♪
Wearing traditional clothing in class seems to have made everyone more focused than usual…? 😂

🍵～茶道教室を行いました～🍵
表千家の講師の先生をお招きし、茶道教室を実施しました。
学生たちは、和菓子や甘くない抹茶をいただくのが初めて✨
最初は少し戸惑いながらも、興味津々で体験していました！
「思ったより苦い！」「和菓子と一緒だとちょうどいい😊」など、たくさんの感想も聞かれました。
日本の伝統文化に触れる、貴重な時間となりました🌸

🍵～We Held a Tea Ceremony Workshop～🍵
We invited an instructor from the Omotesenke school to conduct a tea ceremony workshop.
For many of the students, it was their first time trying traditional Japanese sweets and unsweetened matcha ✨
Although they were a bit hesitant at first, they participated with great interest!
We heard many comments such as, “It’s more bitter than I expected!” and “It tastes just right when paired with the sweets 😊.”
It was a valuable opportunity to experience traditional Japanese culture 🌸

～合唱コンクールをしました♪～
クラスごとに日本語の歌で合唱コンクールをしました。
歌詞の意味をみんなで考えて、歌詞がはっきり聞こえるように何度も練習していました！
歌は「夢をあきらめないで」「未来へ」「上を向いて歩こう」「にじ」「BELIEVE」を歌いました☺
クラスのみんなで一つのことを一生懸命するのはいい思い出になりますね★

We held our class choir competition today! 🎶
Each class performed a Japanese song, and everyone worked hard—discussing the meaning of the lyrics and practicing again and again so the words would come through clearly.

The songs we sang included “Yume wo Akiramenaide,” “Mirai e,” “Ue o Muite Arukou,” “Niji,” and “Believe.” 😊

Putting our hearts together as a class to accomplish one thing makes such wonderful memories. ✨

～2025年4月期生と2026年4月期生の健康診断をしました～
レントゲン撮影、身長体重血圧測定、採血などを去年と今年の4月期生を対象に行いました。
学生たちは国で健康診断を受ける習慣があまりないので、少し緊張した様子でしたが、健康に留学生活を送るためには大切なことですね！

We conducted health checkups for our April 2025 and April 2026 students!
X-ray exams, height and weight measurements, blood pressure checks, and blood tests were carried out for both last year’s and this year’s incoming students.
Many of them aren’t used to having regular health checkups in their home countries, so they looked a little nervous.
But staying healthy is an important part of enjoying student life in Japan!

🌏 Ethnic Costume Day 🌏
At Kaisei Academy Japanese Language School Hyogo Kawanishi Campus, we regularly have a day where students come to school wearing the traditional clothing of their home countries to deepen cultural understanding.☺
The school becomes colorful and lively, and the students seemed even more cheerful than usual as they chatted in Japanese!
Of course, the teachers also join in by wearing traditional outfits from various countries♪
