Little Oz is an child care and early learning centre which caters for boys and girls aged 1 - 3 years. Our English After Hour Programs caters for boys and girls aged 3 - 6 and runs five times a week from 2:30 - 5:30. It is named after the playful film 'The Wizard of Oz' and Australia, linking both english and play to our programmes.
Little Oz has high quality teaching staff who are specially tr
ained to observe and respond to the child’s interests and developmental needs. Programmes are based on the whole child - aiming to meet the diverse individual needs by assisting children to develop social skills, intellectual independence, emotional security, spiritual and physical growth. Little Oz sees a child’s self-esteem as the seed for growth and Little Oz's environment will be conducive to its development. We believe a child’s self-esteem is at the core of all learning. It enables a child to take the necessary risks with learning and therefore develop as a person in all areas. We share the responsibility with families to provide a climate in which children can learn about living with others and extend their understanding of themselves and the world around them in addition to acquiring the foundation skills which our society demands. 当園Little Oz(リトルオズ)は、１歳から４歳のお子様を対象とした保育園です。『Little Oz』とは、世界中で愛されている物語『オズの魔法使い』とオーストラリアの人々の愛称である『Aussie』(オーズィ)にちなんでつけられました。当園ではオーストラリアで行われている、子どもの自由な発想を伸ばす遊び中心の教育を英語で行います。Little Ozの教師およびスタッフは有資格者なことはもちろん、子どもを観察することから興味やニーズを理解しサポートする、子ども中心の教育を大切にしています。特に幼児期の成長段階は一人ひとりに合った丁寧なケアが必要です。当園では、子どもの『心・体・脳』全ての健やかな成長を目指した教育を、個々の発達段階に合わせて行います。このような教育の中で育まれる自尊心は、その後の子どもの成長に大きく影響します。私達Little Ozは、子どもが自由に安心して自分自身と自分を取り巻く環境を探索し、冒険できる場を目指します。
