-Energy Systems Modeling: Integration of multi-vector energy systems across operational and investment planning, spanning local district-scale and national-level energy infrastructures.
-Assessment of Low-Emission Development Strategies: Evaluation of the economic, environmental, and social impacts of pathways toward sustainable and low-carbon development.
-Hybrid Renewable Microgrids: Optimization, dynamic power system simulation, control design, and experimental validation of hybrid renewable energy systems.
-Electricity Market Analysis: Investigation of day-ahead electricity markets, local energy markets, demand response programs, and smart grid modeling and analysis.
