～公文式英語で世界とつながる経験をきっかけに～
KUMONでは、英語で世界を感じ、地球社会に貢献できる人材を育むために、Kumon English Immersion Activities（KEIA）の活動を展開しています。
「まちがいを恐れないで、英語でのコミュニケーションに挑戦しよう」が合言葉。「英語は世界とつながるコミュニケーションツールのひとつ」と捉え、日本全国から参加する友だちや、世界各国出身のリーダーたちとコミュニケーションを取り、視野を広げ、世界について学びます。
その中で、視野を広げ、多様性を感じられる「Global Immersion Camp（GIC）」、その前身である「English Immersion Camp（EIC）」に参加したことがきっかけで、多くのグローバル人材を輩出してきた立命館アジア太平洋大学（以下APU）に進学し、現在は実業家として活躍する宇野 輝紀（うの てるき）さんにお話を伺いました。

“Don't be afraid of making mistakes.” This phrase remains a core principle in my life even now.
~Inspired by the experience of connecting with the world through Kumon English~
At Kumon, we are developing the Kumon English Immersion Activities (KEIA) in order to foster human resources who can feel the world in English and contribute to global society.
The motto is “Don't be afraid of making mistakes, and let's try communicating in English”. Participants from all over Japan and leaders from all over the world communicate with each other, broaden their horizons, and learn about the world, viewing English as “one of the communication tools that connect us to the world”.
We spoke to Teruki Uno, who attended the Global Immersion Camp (GIC), previously known as the English Immersion Camp (EIC), which broadened his horizons and made him aware of diversity, and who went on to study at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), which has produced many global human resources, and is now active as a businessman.
