Today's guest is Di from Shanghai.

He has been to Japan 8 times, and visited major tourist places such as Tokyo and Osaka. So this time he wanted to travel peaceful and local cities. He thinks that Shanghai and Tokyo are very similar because the tube is alway crowdy and people always work late at night....

We keep talking about his son. He likes studying. The English teacher gives him homework through his ipad, and Di can check his son's homework and English pronunciation. Instead of letting him study at the cram school, he said it's common for the kids to study English by watching the video by the good and famous teachers on ipad.

大学時代にとにかく海外に行きたくて，大学主催の交換留学プログラムで空きがあったのは日本だけ。１９歳の時，日本語が話せない状態で日本の大学に留学し，３ヶ月で日本語マスター。アメリカの大学を卒業した今，大好きだった横浜で英語を教える仕事を見つけるために日本に３ヶ月滞在中。

私：What's your favorite Japanese?
Kelly: 気持ち because the meaning of kanji is "holding your spirits"! It's so amazing!
私：!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never thought of the meaning of 気持ち. Now I learned that this word has a very powerful meaning!

Aya was a really friendly and generous tour guide. We began the tour by eating famous Onomichi ramen then went on what I would describe as a urban hike. It was fun to spend time outside and visit the temples. Aya definitely has an international vibe since she stayed in The U.S and U.K. It was an easy tour since she spoke perfect English. I felt she had a deep understanding of the history of the temples and was great at getting around the labyrinth of Onomichi. Don’t miss this tour if you’re in the Hiroshima area.

Travel guideとして，スイスの大学生を英語でおもてなしをしました！
①うさぎ島を散策（毒ガス島だった歴史を話しながら）
②広島風お好み焼き　料理
③筆ペンで自分の名前をカタカナで書く

初めての体験ばかりで，ずっとワクワクしていたマルコ君でした。
日本はとても落ち着いていて，誰に対しても優しい日本人を尊敬していると話していました。

私：What do you think of Japanese?
マルコ君：スイス人: They are very nice! When I didn’t know where to go at the station, they tried to speak English with gestures even if I didn’t ask for any help.　It won’t happen in Switzerland.

●
私：Do you like rabbit island?
マルコ君：Yes, it's peaceful.
私： This island used to have poison gas factories during the wars, so it was deleted from the map of Japan.
マルコ君：Really??????

Noren is called store curtain in English.
They are hung at the entrance of the shop. When it’s open, they are hung. But when it’s closed, they are taken down. They usually have their symbols.
