【GWの過ごし方紹介】
４月に来たばかりの１年生たちの始めてのゴールデンウィークが終わりました。１年生たちは、金沢の街や自然を楽しんだようです🌳
みんなに自分で撮った写真を見せながら、堂々と楽しかった１日を紹介することができました👏
聞いているみんなも「誰と行きましたか？」「どのくらいかかりましたか？」とたくさん質問ができて、すばらしかったです🥰
みなさん金沢のことがもっとわかるようになりましたね。

The first‑year students who arrived in April have just finished their very first Golden Week. It seems they enjoyed exploring the city and nature of Kanazawa 🌳
They confidently introduced their fun day while showing the photos they took 👏
A*o everyone asked many questions like “Who did you go with?” and “How long did it take?”, which was wonderful 🥰
Now you all understand even more about Kanazawa.

【㊗️入学式🌷✨】

先日、グローバルコミュニケーション科2回目の入学式を行いました！

来日が遅れていた５名の学生が、無事にこの日を迎えることができました😊
新しい環境の中でのスタートに、緊張しながらも前向きな表情が印象的でした。

また、みんなに自己紹介もしてもらい、それぞれの個性や想いを知ることができる時間に✨

これから始まる日本での学びと生活📚
仲間とともに、たくさんの経験を積み重ねていきましょう🌏

【🎉 Entrance Ceremony 🌷✨】

The second entrance ceremony for the Global Communication Department was recently held✨

Five students, whose arrival in Japan had been delayed, were finally able to attend and celebrate this special day😊
Although they seemed a bit nervous starting life in a new environment, their positive expressions left a strong impression.

We also had a time for self-introductions, where everyone shared about themselves, allowing us to learn about each student’s personality and aspirations✨

As they begin their studies and life in Japan📚
we hope they will gain many valuable experiences together with their classmates🌏

All of our faculty and staff are committed to supporting their growth every step of the way✨

【地域とつながる方法を探そう】
留学生は、金沢国際交流財団を訪問して、金沢の外国人についてグラフなどのデータをもとに様々な情報を教えてもらいました。
その後、地域社会とつながるためのイベントなども知って、スポーツイベントや交流会など参加したいイベントが増えたようでした。
これから1年、勉強やアルバイトにとどまらず、地域の一員として、国籍をこえてみんなで一緒に金沢の街を元気にしていこう！と話し合いました。

【Finding Ways to Connect with the Local Community】

The international students visited the Kanazawa International Exchange Foundation, where they learned various information about foreigners living in Kanazawa based on graphs and other data.
They then learned about events that help people connect with the local community, and it seemed they found sports events and exchange gatherings they would like to participate in.
In the end, they discussed how they would work together—beyond nationalities—as members of the local community to help energize the city of Kanazawa.

【日本の遊び体験】
文化教養授業の中で、留学生たちは日本のあそびを体験しました。はじめてけん玉を持ったのに、日本人より上手な人が多くてびっくり👏
国へ帰るときのお土産にしたいという意見もあって、みんな楽しそうでした😊
日頃の真剣な勉強の姿とちがって、にぎやかな時間になりました。

🍀Japanese Culture Experience🍀
In our culture and education class, the international students tried out traditional Japanese games. Even though it was their first time holding a kendama, many of them were better than Japanese people, which really surprised us 👏
Some even said they wanted to buy one as a souvenir to take home, and everyone seemed to be having a great time 😊
It was a lively change of pace from their usual serious study atmosphere.

N2以上の検定取得、かつ出席率が極めて高い学生に学校から奨励賞が贈られました👏N5レベルで入学した人も２年間でとても成長しました✨
環境が全く違う街へ来て、雨の日も雪の日もがんばって登校していた多くの留学生たちに拍手をおくりたいと思います👏👏👏

We are pleased to recognize students who achieved N2 or higher on the JLPT and maintained an excellent attendance record. 👏
Some students who began at the N5 level have shown remarkable progress over the past two years, and we are truly proud of their growth. ✨
