An Indian-origin man, Manish Kumar, has been living in Japan for 30 years. He had been running an Indian curry restaurant for the past 18 years. However, due to Japan’s stricter visa policies, it is reported that even after living there for 30 years, he was not granted a proper visa and was instead given a “Departure preparation visa,” forcing him into a situation where he may have to return to his home country.
