Speech Contest & Closing ceremony Report / 報告

We are back once more with FOSA’s Annual Speech Contest!
This year, eight contestants used their imagination to write their speeches. After weeks of preparation, they gathered at One Fukuoka Building to deliver insightful speeches along with heartfelt messages. From the overall winners, we have the following:
Cathryeona Rillorta – No matter how scared or worried we are, let’s take our opportunities before it’s too late.
Miharu Funaki – Let’s cherish and appreciate our lives, because many people cannot live the way we do.
Nishiyama Rio – Being away from technology allows us to observe the world more closely and build richer relationships with our families and friends.
We would like to thank all of the contestants for their hard work and effort.
Before concluding the event, we shared the 2025–2026 FOSA Movie to reminisce about the memories of the past year and to celebrate the efforts contributed by everyone.
And that’s a wrap for FOSA 2025–2026. We extend our sincere thanks to our president, Rydll, our vice president, Sofie, and all of the members. Without your support, we wouldn’t have been able to create such a lively and memorable year!

FOSA 年次スピーチコンテストが今年も開催されました！🎉
今年は、8名の参加者が想像力を活かしてスピーチを作成しました。
数週間にわたる準備を経て、参加者たちは ワン・フクオカ・ビルディング（One Fukuoka Building） に集まり、心のこもったメッセージとともに、素晴らしいスピーチを披露してくれました。
総合優勝者は以下の3名です。

どんなに怖くても、不安でも、手遅れになる前にチャンスをつかみましょう。

参加してくださったすべての皆さんの努力と頑張りに、心より感謝いたします。
イベントの最後には、2025–2026 FOSA Movie を上映し、この1年間の思い出を振り返るとともに、皆さんのこれまでの努力を称えました。
そして、これで FOSA 2025–2026 の活動は締めくくりとなります。

This year, the 2026 Speech Contest is held alongside the FOSA Closing Ceremony, featuring a special replay of memories from 2025–2026 and the announcement of the 2026–2027 presidency. Join us to cheer on our speech contestants, experience their inspiring stories and creativity, and celebrate our shared journey as we move toward a new beginning together.

✨ FOSA WINTER SHOW – POST EVENT REPORT ✨

As we begin a new year, we would love to look back on the FOSA Winter Show held on December 20th, a memorable celebration of cultural diversity and international exchange.
The event brought together performers from many countries, showcasing a vibrant mix of traditional and modern performances, including dancing, singing, live music with traditional instruments, and a colorful fashion show. Each act reflected the performers’ passion and cultural identity, creating a joyful and inspiring atmosphere throughout the show.
We were delighted to welcome many participants and audience members whose enthusiastic applause, warm encouragement, and participation in the voting session for their favorite performances added great energy and interaction to the show.
We sincerely thank all performers, staff, and guests who made this annual event a success. We look forward to welcoming you again at future FOSA events, especially our annual Cultural / Winter Show held every November–December.

新しい年の始まりにあたり、12月20日に開催された FOSA Winter Show を振り返りたいと思います。本イベントは、多文化交流と国際的なつながりを祝う、心に残る一日となりました。
当日は、さまざまな国から集まった出演者による、伝統から現代まで幅広いパフォーマンスが披露されました。ダンスや歌、伝統楽器の演奏、そして色鮮やかなファッションショーなど、それぞれのステージが出演者の情熱と文化的アイデンティティを表現し、会場は終始、明るく感動的な雰囲気に包まれていました。
