(35. Some other options to support Kumamoto)
Konbanwaa my dear fellows,
Today ,18th April, is the last day of collecting donations in Daimyo Elementary School. And oupss...you missed it because of the tight schedule. Daijyoubu desu yoo...There some other options to support our neighbor in Kumamoto :
1. If you still want the donation collected by Fukuoka City, you may donate through
A. Money transfer via service counter (not the ATM) therefore you don't need to pay the transfer fee. Make sure to tell the bank officer that the money is donation for Kumamoto.
There are two banks could facilitate the donation for Kumamoto without transfer fee:
1) Fukuoka Bank Head Office (located in front of PARCO)
2) Nishi Nippon City Bank (Tenjin Branch).
This program will start from April 17th until May 13th !

B) If you want to donate large amount of goods (toilet papers, bottled water, diapers, sanitary napkins, etc) please call Fukuoka City Officer (092 733 5161) to manage it. Few days ago, Coca Cola West Japan donated 100.000 bottles of water.

2. Through Moslem Community in Fukuoka. They collect and accept donation, both in small or large quantity, such as:
1) Water
2) Food (dried food, rice, can food, bread, etc)
3) Disposable cutlery (chopstick, fork, spoon, plate/bowl, cup).
4) Diapers and sanitary products.

3. Through Japan Habitat Association. This organization collect disposable diapers. You can bring the diapers to 3-3-18 kasumigaoka higashiku Fukuoka 813-0811.
Person in charge is Hori Yasuko San (mobile phone 080-5254-3069). First batch of collecting donation is by the end of this week.
