Hi ya. So it' summer and i am enjoying it so much. Watermelons from Noko Island where i live r amazingly sweet and oh so refreshing.

At the english preschool we talked about sharing and dividing using origami and watermelon. Tastiest lesson ever.

Do you know "suika wari?" It's a common Japanese game in summer time usually done on the beach. A person is blind folded, spun around, then tries to walk and break the watermelon with a bat or rod, etc. Then u eat it!
Make sure it's super cold. I got the island liquor store guy to jeep it in his beer fridge then deliver it to us at the time and location i planned. Worked out great. (I had three watermelons) If u want to do it at home though, all u need is a watermelon, something to hit it with, a sheet and a blindfold. Easy summer fun!

Where’s Santa?

Shuffle them around and students can guess where Santa is. In a small classroom, I get all the students to answer one question and then play once, letting them all guess at the same time. d(^_^o)

Happy New Year! So this is my first post ever for TeAching Creativity, which NO ONE knows yet. I am packing up my Christmas stuff and teaching materials, so I took pictures to show you my ideas/ teaching materials.

I made circles with one side the same wrapping paper and the other side 2 ornaments for 20 different wrapping papers. After laminating them, I cut them with a bit sticking out like an ornament, and painted it with nail polish.

Uses

1 as points

2 matching game

3 elimination game with Christmas characters or colors
(Do you have~? May I have~? Can you see~?) student gives teacher the card. First one with no cards left wins.
