Summer Festival Lesson 🏮✨
Last week’s theme was “Summer Festival”!
Though out of season, we enjoyed Japanese festival events entirely in English 🎪
“What’s your favorite festival food?”
“I want yakisoba!”
“Takoyaki, please!”
The children learned about festival foods in English and challenged themselves with various activities 💪
Ring toss, yo-yo fishing, shooting games…
For each activity completed, they earned tickets for yakisoba 🍜, takoyaki 🐙, and chocolate bananas 🍌!
“I got a ticket!”
“How many do you have?”
“Let’s exchange them!”
It was wonderful to see them communicate in English and work together to collect tickets 😊
At the end, everyone enjoyed festival foods together 🎉
“It’s delicious!”
“This is the best!”
“Can I have more?”
The room was filled with smiles and English conversation ✨
At CAN!P English, we create many opportunities for children to “use” English through seasonal events and cultural experiences.
Learning naturally while having fun—
That’s our approach to bilingual education 🌟

Valentine’s Day Lesson 💝
Today was all about expressing gratitude to our beloved families in English.
The children wrote letters to their families and created key cases illustrated with family portraits.
“Dear Mom, Thank you for always cooking for me.”
“Dad, you are the best!”
They put their hearts into every word of their English letters.
Then, in front of the camera, each child shared their feelings about their families in English – some a bit nervous, but all so genuine.
“I love my family because they always help me.”
“My mom is very kind and beautiful.”
“Thank you for everything, Dad!”
Even though they were nervous and a little shy, the children’s expressions when talking about their beloved families were so warm and full of love 😊
English is not just “words.”
It’s a “tool” to express feelings.

At CAN!P English, we cherish the experience of using English to express one’s thoughts and emotions.
On this special Valentine’s Day, the children conveyed their love for their families in English. It was a day filled with so many beautiful moments 💝

January's theme was "Animals 🦁🐧🦒."
In today's lesson, the students took a quiz to guess what animals were based on their characteristics.
"It can fly and it's very small!"
"It's fast and it has stripes!"
We also practiced describing animal characteristics in English while looking at photos and videos. Everyone enthusiastically raised their hands and shared, "It can scratch!" and "It's very strong!"

After the lesson, we had activity time to put what they learned to good use.
For robot building, the students created a giraffe robot, which is characterized by its long neck. They assembled it using the expression they learned in lesson, saying, "The neck is very long!"

For stuffed toys, the students tried making penguins and sea otters. They carefully sewed the toys together while talking about each animal in English, saying, "Penguins can swim!" and "Sea otters are so cute!"

For sandwich making, they designed a pig's face using Spam. The children had fun making the animals, exclaiming, "This is a pig!" and "Pigs have a pink nose!"

The characteristics of the animals they learned in class naturally came out during the activities. There were many such moments throughout the day.
