Our 3rd-year PhD student, Gabriella, is currently in Indonesia conducting research on patients with Type 2 Diabetes.
Here is some documentation from her participant recruitment of about 100 targeted participants at health centers in Manado City.
Participants are now receiving diabetes education via WhatsApp, twice a week for a duration of 6 weeks.
Let’s wish her the best for her research✏️📑🏥

Congratulations to the newest members of the Global Health Nursing Department! Yesterday, on April 2nd, we welcomed 2 PhD and 2 master's students, including two international scholars from Haiti and China, awarded scholarships from MEXT. Wishing them all the best as they embark on their academic journey ahead! 📚👏

Looking back on an amazing experience at the 27th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS) conference in Hong Kong, held from March 6-7. Presented our paper, connected with fellow scholars, and enjoyed precious moments with loved ones. Grateful for the chance to share knowledge and make unforgettable memories.

In June of this year, D2 student Phyu Phyu participated in the Kaiketsu Program, where she had the opportunity to visit Nagoya and Okinawa. During her visit, she engaged in activities that involved visiting clinics, vaccination centers, health centers, and hospitals to gain valuable insights and experiences related to her academic pursuits 📝✈️

She embarked on a remarkable journey to Kiribati to develop her doctoral program titled "Development and Feasibility Evaluation of the Program to Fostering “Goal-Driven Actor” for Health Workforce Involved in Primary Health Care in the Republic of Kiribati".
