Watched the romantic horror film Obsession last month.
Something about the relationship felt unsettling to me while I was watching, so I bought the movie program afterward to see if my interpretation was right—and it was. That made the film even scarier in a completely different way.
And now the important question:
What would you wish for with the One Wish Willow?

After my soba lunch, I did a little café exploring too, and stopped by Brewman Tokyo Higashi Ginza.
Milk brew is mild, flavorful coffee with no harsh bitterness, so good for me. They also have a limited competition-style special, it’s good for serious coffee lovers.
I especially loved the maneki-neko décor and cup design—lucky cats are part of my own studio design too.

This summer, I’ve been exploring soba restaurants around neighbor. This time, I visited Soba Sasuga in Ginza.
I tried their soba tasting course, with warm soba, soba salad, and a generous serving of soba to finish. Perfect if you’re hungry and want to enjoy soba in different styles.
I also loved all the little appetizer dishes, but my favorite was the sobagaki—soft, chewy, and delicious.

Summer vacation horror adventure.
This time, I went to a special horror screening at a planetarium.
Watching an original short horror film projected across the planetarium dome with sudden loud sounds coming out of the darkness, there were plenty of jump-scare moments too.

Ginza soba at Soba Yu.
Every small dish was delicious, and the soba was cooked right in front of us with such care and precision.
Today’s special was yuzu soba—cold, firm noodles with a fresh, citrusy flavor that felt perfect for summer.
Next time, I’d love to try the full course!

A ghost-story night in a beautiful hall overlooking the sparkling Tokyo skyline at Toranomon Hills.
This event was part of the Tony Oursler exhibition program.
Ghost stories are a classic Japanese summer tradition—there’s something special about getting a little scared on a hot summer night.
I’m going to see the Tony Oursler exhibition soon too. It looks creepy, strange, and fascinating… exactly my kind of fun.

Tsukiji Honganji Bon Odori. I went on the last night. I've been there for the past few years. The atmosphere is good, the dance participation rate is good, and the food at the street stall is delicious because it's from Tsukiji Market, so I highly recommend it.
