McKinsey is recommending companies to adopt a Group of 3 ("G-3") approach to talent management where the CEO, CFO, and chief human resources officer (CHRO) collaborate in addressing the following questions:
"1) Are my company’s talent practices still relevant?
2) How can we recruit, deploy, and develop people to deliver greater value to customers—and do so better than the competition?
3) How can I be sure that I have the right approach to talent—and the right HR—to drive the changes we need to make?"
This approach recognizes the need to continuously upgrade organizational talent in order to be able to exploit opportunities while mitigating risks in an increasingly VUCA world.
If your organization is interested in upgrading its talent management efforts, please contact MDI.TOKYO to learn more about our latest Programs and Courses.
