While learning Japanese in the 90s and early 2000s had it's struggles...mainly the lack of resources and technology that's available today...learning Japanese now has it's own obstacles! Apps that teach you unnatural Japanese that you would probably NEVER need to use in real life, and "struggle-free" methods to "hack" learning Japanese are EVERYWHERE! The truth is, there is no such thing as a "struggle-free" method for learning Japanese...because being challenged and getting things wrong is literally HOW you learn! Don't be afraid of making mistakes and find a structured plan to compound your Japanese! ❤️🌸🇯🇵

You DEFINITELY need to learn Katakana! It’s used WAY more often than you think and it’s eventually going to be used to express about 1/3 of the Japanese language! 🇯🇵🌸

While immersion can be fun, it’s not a cheat code for learning Japanese. It really only clicks when you know a decent amount of Japanese grammar…so immersion might not that rewarding as a beginner, but as soon as you learn that grammar, it will be worth it! 🌸✨
