🎏５月５日は端午の節句🎏
本日、５月５日は「端午の節句」です。五節句のひとつに数えられ、男の子の健やかな成長と健康を願う日として広く親しまれています👦
起源は奈良時代にさかのぼり、中国から伝来した風習に由来します。当時は、邪気を払うとされる菖蒲やヨモギを用いて、無病息災を祈る行事として行われていました。現代においては、こいのぼりを掲げ、五月人形を飾ることで子どもの成長を祝う習慣が定着しています。また、行事食として、ちまきやかしわ餅を食べます。
当学園では、伝統的な五月の行事にちなんで、兜をかたどった「兜ハンバーグ」を代々お教えしております。これは、当学園が発祥とされるハンバーグをアレンジした特別な一品です 🍴皆様はどのようにお過ごしですか？
Founded in 1882, Akahori Cooking School is Japan’s oldest cooking school. ✨
Today, May 5th, is Tango no Sekku, a traditional Japanese day to celebratethe healthy growth of boys.
It dates back to the Nara period and was influenced by Chinese customs using iris and mugwort to ward off evil.
Today, families celebrate by displaying koinobori (carp streamers) and Gogatsu ningyo (samurai dolls), symbols of strength and success for children.
It is also customary to eat chimaki (sweet rice dumplings wrapped in leaves) and kashiwa mochi (rice cakes wrapped in oak leaves) as part of the celebration.
At our school, we honor this tradition by teaching how to make “Kabuto Hamburg,” a special hamburg steak shaped like a samurai helmet (kabuto).
This unique dish was created by our school, which was the first in Japan to teach how to make hamburger steak, as a fusion of tradition and culinary innovation🍴
