We’ve picked team members who not only fulfil our camp program goals, but are a perfect match for the age ranges and needs of your kids. WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR PARENTS
It’s not just kids who enjoy summer camp. Parents for over a hundred years have been extolling the benefits of having their children spend summer weeks away from home at an outdoor camp. But with no cell phone or internet contact, a long way away from Hokkaido, what are your parents going to do? Parents who choose to do so may drop their children at camp and/or pick them up. Perhaps this is an opportunity for them to explore Niseko or Hokkaido themselves? Hiking
A must-do for hiking enthusiasts is a hike up the majestic Mount Yotei. Niseko hot springs (Onsen)
Hokkaido’s abundance of hot springs has easily become one of its main tourist attractions. Relax your aching muscles and unwind at one of the many onsens in Niseko. Konbu Onsen and the Five Colors are two of the hot springs nearby. Local cuisine
Hokkaido is in particular known for vast unspoiled natural wilderness and an abundance of fresh seafood. There are plenty of restaurants that provide us with the riches of the sea and mountains. Parents are also welcome to join us at Camp Moiwa on Friday afternoons to get a taste of what their children have been up to. Take part in a craft or sports activity and join us for the final BBQ if you like. On other days, campers may be contacted through the camp office and parents can follow camper activities by checking out the photos on our site.
