有田焼上絵付　染付

今日から有田焼絵付講座を開催しています。
受講生は初級から上級までは上絵付、研究科では本格的な染付作品を制作しています。
素焼に呉須で描いたモチーフは、有田の窯元で1200℃以上で還元焼成し、美しい藍色に発色します。

11月からは新期開講、新入生を募集中です♪

Arita-yaki painting courses are held from today.
Students work on overglaze paintings from beginner to advanced level, and full-scale underglaze painted works in the research course.
Motifs drawn in “gosu”on unglazed porcelain are reduction-fired at over 1200°C in the Arita kilns, where they develop a beautiful indigo colour.

May the course be a time of joyful learning and healing.

鮮やかな配色、モダンなモチーフが特徴の伝統絵付技法で、焼成前後では絵の具の色が異なります。

From today, we held a lesson on Kutani-yaki overglaze painting with five-color, and bluish-Green technique.
This traditional painting technique is characterised by vivid colour schemes and modern motifs, and the colour of the paint differs before and after firing.
The aim is to master the heaping up of the paint and achieve beautiful colouration.

昨日から人気の「九谷焼上絵付　赤絵細描」講座を開催しています。
極細の筆を使い、赤一色で小紋を描く作業をひたすら続けていきます。
新入生も加わり、均一で細い線を引くところから始めてゆきます。

葡萄茶彩描（えびちゃさいびょう）

昨日から金沢で活躍する上端伸也先生をお迎えし、特別講座の前半2回を開催しています。
西洋の聖堂やイスラム寺院の装飾も想起する、モダンな九谷焼上絵付。
受講生は、講師および昨年仕上げた自らの作品を身に着けて参加♪
輪花プレート、講師自らの成型による繊細なアクセサリーパーツに、彩色と金彩を加えてゆきます

The first two sessions of a special lecture by Mr. Shinya Kanbata, a Kanazawa-based artist, have been held since yesterday.
This modern Kutani-yaki overglaze enameled ware recalls the decorations of Western cathedrals and Islamic temples.
Participants attended the class wearing pieces created by the instructor and their own works completed last year,
and will learn how to make detailed drawings on dish and delicate accessory parts molded by the instructor himself.
This month we will finish line drawing, and next month we will add coloring and gilding.

本日は「九谷焼上絵付　色絵金襴手」講座を開催しています。
多色絵の具と本金（金粉）で艶やかなモチーフや小紋を展開してゆくこの技法は、明治期に「ジャパン・クタニ」と呼ばれて世界中で称賛されました。
九谷焼の様々な絵付けの中でも、最も華やかな作風です。
講師の明るいお人柄で、教室は笑いにあふれています。

Today we’re offering a "Kutani-ware painting Iro-e Kinrande(multi-colored & gold painted style) " class.
This technique of painting glossy motifs and small patterns with multicolor paints and honkin (gold powder) was called "Japan Kutani" during the Meiji period and was admired around the world.
This is the most flamboyant of the various styles of Kutaniyaki painting.
