شاركت كلية العلوم الطبية المساندة في جامعة الحسين بن طلال في الفعاليات العلمية التي نظمتها الشبكة الأوروبية لتشخيص وعلاج الالتهابات البكتيرية المقاومة للمضادات الحيوية (COST Action CA21145 – EURESTOP)، والمنعقدة في مدينة بولا (P**a) بجمهورية كرواتيا، وذلك ممثَّلةً بالأستاذ الدكتور سليمان النعيمات، الذي شارك بصفته عضوًا في الشبكة الأوروبية COST Action CA21145 – EURESTOP وعضوًا في اللجنة الوطنية لمكافحة البكتيريا المقاومة للمضادات الحيوية.
وشملت مشاركة الكلية حضور مدرسة التدريب العلمية (EURESTOP Training School) للفترة 23–25 حزيران 2026، والتي تضمنت جلسة تدريبية متخصصة بعنوان “From Data to Action: Estimation Methods and Data Visualization for Antimicrobial Resistance Burden”، تناولت أساليب تقدير العبء المرضي الناتج عن مقاومة المضادات الحيوية وأدوات تصور البيانات (Data Visualization) المستخدمة في تحليل بيانات المقاومة الميكروبية، إضافة إلى المؤتمر الختامي للشبكة (EURESTOP Final Conference) للفترة 25–27 حزيران 2026.
وتُعدّ هذه المشاركة امتدادًا لعضوية الكلية الفاعلة، من خلال ممثلها، في الشبكة الأوروبية COST Action CA21145 – EURESTOP وفي اللجنة الوطنية لمكافحة البكتيريا المقاومة للمضادات الحيوية، وتعكس حضور كلية العلوم الطبية المساندة في الشبكات البحثية الأوروبية المتخصصة بمقاومة مضادات الميكروبات، بما يعزز الشراكات الأكاديمية للكلية ويدعم مسيرتها البحثية على المستوى الدولي.
Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences Participates in European EURESTOP Network Activities in Croatia
The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University participated in the scientific activities organized by the European Network for Diagnosis and Treatment of Antibiotic-Resistant Bacterial Infections (COST Action CA21145 – EURESTOP), held in P**a, Croatia, represented by its Dean, Prof. Sulaiman Alnaimat, who took part in his capacity as a member of the European COST Action CA21145 – EURESTOP network and a member of the National Committee for Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria.
The Faculty's participation comprised the EURESTOP Training School (23–25 June 2026), which included a dedicated session entitled “From Data to Action: Estimation Methods and Data Visualization for Antimicrobial Resistance Burden,” addressing methodologies for estimating the disease burden of antimicrobial resistance and data visualization tools used in the analysis of antimicrobial resistance surveillance data, in addition to the EURESTOP Final Conference (25–27 June 2026).
This participation reflects the Faculty's active membership, through its representative, in the European COST Action CA21145 – EURESTOP network and in the National Committee for Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria, underscoring the Faculty's engagement with specialized European research networks in antimicrobial resistance and reinforcing its academic partnerships and international research standing.
