In Jordanian Arabic, when we say “الجو شوب”, we mean the weather is really, really hot, usually in an uncomfortable way.
Example:
الجو اليوم شوب! → It’s boiling hot today! 🥵
It’s a casual, everyday word used to complain about the heat.
