Dear Students,

After more than 20 wonderful years at the university, I’ve made the very difficult decision to move on. This was not easy—but sometimes, change is needed to explore something new in a new place.

Thank you for the memories, the conversations, the challenges, and the learning—on both sides of the classroom. I’ll carry this experience with me always.

Applications are open for the International Parliamentary Scholarship IPS 2026

The International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) gives you the opportunity to experience hands-on how the German Bundestag works. The five-month programme includes lectures at German universities and an internship in the office of a German Member of Parliament.
