The princess of Mittani and the winged lion spent a beautiful time together. Everywhere they showed up, there was love in the air.
But the Pharaoh of Egypt became very angry since the princess did not arrive at his court as promised. He sent his army against Jordan, it came like a locust plague it flooded the mountains and the plains, like a thunderstorm it overcame the fortress Ushayer. The battle lasted for seven days and nights, everyone in the fortress fought like a raging lion. But when the winged lion felt the resistance was broken, the walls collapsed. The Pharaoh had spoken: "The princess is mine!". There were no more words, just silence...

Archaeological definition 2: the locus or context is the smallest identified unit at an archaeological excavation. It has its own identity, its own history, it is made artificially or randomly. Everyone looks for the secrets it may contain. Archaeologists are addicted to the locus, they assign beautiful numbers to it, such as 007. Now the question: is this a locus/context?

Once upon a time there was a princess, she was the daughter of the king of Mittani. The Pharaoh of Egypt wanted to marry her. Her father said she had to go although she was very unhappy to become the Pharaoh's wife. On the long way to Egypt the caravan stopped at Tell Ushayer. The princess was feeling lonely but a brave guy came to take her up to the fortress. There she met the winged lion. Immediately she fell in love with him. From now on the winged lion was called Angelo.
