In response to the continuous development in information technology, to keep pace with times and rapid changes in this sector, and due to the increasing regional and international demand for highly qualified specialists in information technology, the Faculty of Information Technology at Hashemite University was established. Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II for Information Technology was established at the beginning of the academic year (2001/2002). The first batch of students was admitted in this year in addition to the students of the Computer Science program which started with the establishment of the university. It has three departments:
