أن حزام الأمان يشكّل درع الأمان الأول للسائق والركاب، إذ يساهم في خفض معدلات الوفيات بنسبة تتراوح بين 20% و50%، ويقلل من الإصابات الخطيرة بنسبة تصل إلى 68%.

زار وفد من الجامعة الألمانية الأردنية برئاسة الدكتور عمر البطاينة، مدير مركز التميز للسلامة المرورية، والسيدة نيللي العبادي، الجمعية الأردنية للوقاية من حوادث الطرق، لبحث سبل التعاون في تعزيز السلامة المرورية والحد من الحوادث في الأردن.

A delegation from the German Jordanian University (GJU), led by Dr. Omar Albatayneh, Director of the Road Safety Center of Excellence (RSCE), and accompanied by Ms. Nelly Alabadi, visited the Jordanian Society for the Prevention of Road Accidents to explore avenues for collaboration in promoting road safety and reducing traffic-related incidents in Jordan.
