Basing my work on empirical research and firsthand experience working with families, I offer child development and parenting consultations on matters ranging from “every day” struggles to challenging problem behavior (such as aggression or violent behaviors). I work with each family individually; understanding the specific needs of your child. Consultations, which are strictly confidential, are based on offering parents the support they need through each developmental transition, answering questions and providing research based knowledge. Parenting strategies offered are based on the age of the child, behaviors observed, occurrences within the child’s environment, foundations of appropriate behavior management and your own approach to parenting. In addition to my work with families, I also offer Child Centered Programming Consultations. My approach relies heavily on drawing from the context through which your entity operates and your years of experience in working with employers as well as families, in order to help you choose a solution that's right for your organization. Interventions are based on collaboration and leadership from within the organization. Plans are customized and will assist you in planning a high quality child development program that meets the needs of the families you serve, your employees and the organization’s goals. I offer expert consultations as well as technical assistance on either the establishment or enhancement of a child, youth and family based program. Educational Background:
