MEET THE TEAM
Hala Maimoun - Music Instructor.

Hala is a musician and began practicing music at a young age. The young artist pursued her passion for music while studying marketing at the American University of Madaba.

In 2014 she joined Drum Jam (a percussion group). She says that being part of the group when she was in university gave her a huge push; they supported me a lot, and it’s still ongoing.

She explained that by teaching music, she is helping other individuals to achieve his or her dreams. She added that “It is very important to teach music for children in school, so there will be more awareness for people to know about what music is.”

Tareq Alkhaldi - Project Officer

Tareq has about 10 years of experience in different fields with different NGOs. He believes that if you want to be most successful in life you have to invest yourself and do it, that is a success from his point of view. He has also worked in different programs and activities with different positions like Project management, Psychosocial support, Informal education, and has participated in several training and workshops related to these programs.

Tareq has a great passion and ambition to work in the humanitarian sector and always gives his best to achieve impactful results.
Tareq now is working on a project with the Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
that aims to collect interviews from Syrian refugee youth about their views and ideas for a viable future in Jordan. The interviews conducted in Amman and Al-Salt will form the basis for an anthropological research project at the CU and the results will be presented in academic journals and policy and advocacy work aimed at NGOs and other implementing bodies in Jordan.

MEET THE TEAM

Meet Nadia Al Masri As the new Communication Officer for Turning Tables Jordan.
During her studies of marketing at al Balqa University, Nadia started to participate in activities to figure out what she really wanted to do in her life and what her interest was. She volunteered with a cultural initiative in 2014 that became a cultural and art organization, it was the first safe space for youth and children in Salt city.and by 2018 she was the coordinator of the cultural program.

She has more than 5 years of experience working with local and international NGOs, festivals, and other kinds of cultural and art activities inside and outside of Jordan. In 2019 she did a one year project in the Netherlands. Currently, she started her first podcast program about social issues and stereotypes in Jordan.
