من أبرز أهداف التربية الإعلامية والمعلوماتية: تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى الطلبة في مواجهة ما تبثه وسائل الإعلام بمختلف أشكالها بما فيها ألعاب الفيديو، لماذا؟ حتى لا يكون عقول التلاميذ في آذانهم. وبالتالي، ينطبق عليهم قول حابي لدُيُونُ في مسرحية مصرع كليوباترا لأحمد شوقي. فقد قال حابي:

كيف يُوحون إليه
ملأ الجوَّ هُتافًا

In this initiative, we are interested in the integration of Media and Information Literacy MIL into the school environment of UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) schools in the Jordan Field. This research includes both an exploratory study, highlighting the attitudes and beliefs of students and teachers with regard to ICT including the media, and action research. The results of our exploratory study show that students are largely exposed to traditional and digital media, but primarily entertainment-oriented. In addition, the results show that the high level of accessibility and use of media and ICT, and the school curriculum, as well as the long hours spent in front of screens, did not help them to acquire the skills targeted by the MIL. The pretest of our action research reveals that the vast majority of 14-year-old students do not have basic media literacy skills. The action research is focused on the integration of MIL through the implementation of a model structured in three components: the training program for teachers and students in MIL; ICT and Jordanian curriculum of 8th grade. Nonetheless, the results suggest that information and media literacy skills are clearly superior to previous performances. An improvement was observed especially in the level of written and oral expression. Finally, this program has had an impact on the pedagogies implemented aimed at greater inclusiveness.

متى تُصْبح مدارسنا حواضن للثقافة والرقي؟

لا تصدق كل الفيديوهات التي تشاهدها فيمكن أن تكون مُعدّة من خلال تقنية التزييف العميق deepfake. الذي هو عبارة عن وسائط تركيبية يتم فيها استبدال شخص في صورة أو مقطع فيديو موجود بمظهر شخص آخر. بحيث يبدو هذا الشخص يتكلم بكلام لم يتفوه به مُطلقاً. وتكمن خطورة هذه التقنية بقدرتها على خداع الأشخاص البسطاء لتحريضهم ودفعهم إلى اتخاذ مواقف تجاه الضحية. فالتزييف العميق يتم من خلال التقنيات القوية التي يُتيحها الذكاء الاصطناعي للتلاعب أو إنشاء محتوى مرئي وصوتي مع إمكانية عالية للخداع. و يمكن خلق المحتوى القائم على التزييف العميق، على سبيل المثال، باستخدام تطبيق Zao الذي يمكن من خلاله إنشاء فيديوهات قائمة على هذه التقنية. لذا يجب الحذر وعدم تصديق كل ما تشاهدونه لا سيما نحن نعيش في منطقة متوترة تُشَنْ ضدنا حروب نفسية مروعة. الفيديو المُرفق في التعليق الأول هو نموذج لفيديو مُزيف للرئيس الأمريكي السابق تم إعداده من خلال تقنيةالتزييف العميق.

(Includes English translation)This video suggests schools to lead the response to the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of schools' lockdown or students' irregular attendance. Working on Teachers' digital competency through self-based training will empower teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to master the use of tools that we classified under four competencies: Communication and collaboration, creating interactive learning content, learning enrichment, and assessment. Each school should create its own e-learning platform that will include all tools that teachers will use. This video is the first in a series of videos that will clarify how the school could lead the response to overcome the negative consequences of this pandemic over students' learning.
