DJUCO (Danish Jordanian University Cooperation) is a joint venture between the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and University of Southern Denmark.
Danish Jordanian University Cooperation (DJUCO) is a partnership between University of Southern Denmark and Jordanian universities – and between other European and Middle Eastern universities and researchers. The partnership initiates new ways of academic cooperation between Denmark and Jordan within the field of research and education. The DJUCO partnership is funded by the DAPP – Danish Arab Par
tnership Program which is a collaboration program focusing on reform and strengthening dialogue between Denmark and the MENA region, and is under the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. DJUCO has since the beginning of 2009 established research cooperation between the two countries and arranged a number of international conferences and workshops. Furthermore, each year Jordanian students have been invited to take part in the Mediterranean Perspectives course, which is part of Center for Contemporary Middle East Studies’ MA program in Middle East Studies. Danish students have also visited Jordan as part of different activities related to the programme. Furthermore, DJUCO Partnership arranges events such as innovation camps, dialogue meetings, and career workshops for Jordanian students to enhance the academic environment in Jordan.. DJUCO Partnership aims at building bridges between educational cultures, and encourage to wider networking, dialogue, and exchange. شراكة دجوكو - مشروع التعاون الجامعي الأردني الدنماركي
مشروع التعاون الجامعي الأردني الدنماركي ( دجوكو) هو شراكة بين جامعة جنوب الدنمارك و جامعات أردنية - و بين جامعات أخرى في كل من الشرق الأوسط و أوروبا و عدة باحثين.
تبادر الشراكة في خلق طرق جديدة للتعاون الأكاديمي بين الأردن و الدنمارك في مجال البحث و التعليم. ومن الجدير بالذكر أن شراكة دجوكو تأتي ضمن إطار برنامج الشراكة الدنماركية العربية الذي يدعم مشاريع الشراكة بين المؤسسات والجمعيات الدنماركية والعربية في مجال التنمية البشرية والاقتصادية والحكم الرشيد.و هي ممولة من وزارة الخارجية الدنماركية. منذ تأسيس شراكة دجوكو عام 2009 وهي تقيم تعاون بحثي بين البلدين و تنظم عدد من المؤتمرات الدولية و ورشات عمل طلابية.
علاوة على ذلك تقوم الشراكة في كل عام بدعوة طلبة أردنيين للمشاركة في دراسة مادة " من منظور البحر الأبيض المتوسط" التي هي جزء من برنامج ماجستير دراسات شرق أوسطية في مركزدراسات الشرق الأوسط المعاصرة. كما يزور طلاب دنماركيين الاردن كمشتركين في عدة أنشطة متعلقة بالبرنامج.
بالاضافة الى ذلك تنظم شراكة دجوكو أنشطة طلابية مثل المخيمات الابداعية ، جلسات حوارية، وورشات عمل مهنية تهدف لتحسين البيئة الأكاديمية في الأردن.
تسعى شراكة دجوكو للتجسير بين الثقافة التعليمية و تشجع التواصل و الحوار و التبادل على مدى أوسع.
