This Page is aiming to unify and create a society of interested Jordanians and non Jordanians in Sustainable Development. This page is a forum for the exchange of information between researchers, developers and practitioners acting on the topic of building energy and environment and related issues and aims to increase the awareness of the benefits of applying the passive design, environmental design, sustainable design and planning strategies on both building's indoor and outdoor scales, i.e. for a single building design and for urban developments. It also aims for improving the research interests of the whole community's architects, urban planners and urban designers in applying the passive design and urban planning methodology and strategies to reduce building and urban fabric energy consumption, reaching acceptable human comfort levels, reducing GHG emissions and to increase the quality of the design process and its product. Green architecture and renewable energy in Jordan is in both Arabic and English languages and brings together members from universities, research institutions and professional institutions of Jordan and other Arab speaking areas.
