من الشمال إلى الجنوب الأردنّ يحتفل بعيد الاستقلال الــ٨٠ من ٢٣ إلى ٢٥ أيار.

بمناسبة عيد الاستقلال، نفَّذ طلَّاب الصفِّ السادس مشروعًا جماعيًّا مميَّزًا للتعريف بآثار الأردنِّ وتعزيز معرفتهم بتاريخ وطنهم الغنيِّ بالحضارات المتعاقبة.
بحث كلُّ طالب عن موقع أثريّ، وتعرَّف أهمَّ المعلومات المتعلِّقة به، وهي تاريخه وموقعه وأبرز معالمه، ثمَّ صمَّم ملصقًا إبداعيًّا يُبرز هذه المعلومات بطريقة جذَّابة منظَّمة. بعد ذلك، جُمعت الأعمال جميعها في جداريَّة جسَّدت تاريخ الأردنِّ وحضارته العريقة، وعكست جهود الطلبة وتعاونهم وحماسهم للتعلُّم والاكتشاف.

Across the Kingdom, Jordanians unite in celebrating the nation’s 80th Independence Day from May 23 to 25.

To celebrate Independence Day, sixth-grade students took part in a collaborative project that introduced them to Jordan’s archaeological landmarks while deepening their appreciation of the country’s rich and diverse history.
Each student chose an archaeological site to research, exploring its historical significance, location, and most notable features. Using their findings, they designed creative and visually engaging posters that presented the information in an organized and appealing way.
The students’ work was then brought together in a large mural that celebrated Jordan’s cultural heritage and ancient civilizations, while also reflecting the students’ teamwork, creativity, and eagerness to learn and explore.

بين البحث، والعمل التعاونيّ، والفن والتصميم أبدع طلبة الصفوف من الرابع إلى السادس في إعداد لوحة فنيّة تمثّل خريطة الأردنّ بطريقة مميزة، حيث صُمِّمت الخريطة على شكل قطع متكاملة، حملت كلّ قطعة فكرة تعبّر عن موضوع بحثيّ مختلف. بحث طلبة الصفّ الرابع في الهويّة الأردنيّة، وتناول طلبة الصف الخامس تاريخ الأردنّ، بينما استكشف طلبة الصف السادس الأردنّ اليوم وما يميّزه من تطوّر وإنجازات. حوّل الطلبة نتائج أبحاثهم إلى تصاميم فنيّة متناسقة، لتخرج اللوحة وكأنّها حكاية وطن يرويها أبناؤه الصغار بإبداع وانتماء وفخر.
Combining research, teamwork, art, and design, students from Grades 4 to 6 collaborated to create a unique artwork inspired by the map of Jordan. The map was designed as a collection of connected pieces, with each piece representing a different research theme. Grade 4 students explored Jordanian identity and culture, Grade 5 students focused on the history of Jordan, while Grade 6 students highlighted present-day Jordan and its remarkable progress and achievements. By transforming their research into creative and harmonious designs, the students produced a meaningful artwork that tells the story of a nation through the eyes of its young generation, filled with creativity, pride, and a deep sense of belonging .

في رحلةٍ عبر الزمن، إذ تروي الأزياء حكايات الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل، نشارككم مقتطفاتٍ من عرض الأزياء لهذا العام بعنوان "من الماضي نصمِّم المستقبل"، وهو مفهومٌ أبدعه الطلبة بأنفسهم، ليُجسِّد رؤيتهم الإبداعيَّة على منصَّة العرض. خُصِّص ريع العرض لدعم المرضى غير المقتدرين في مركز الحسين للسرطان.

يأتي عرض الأزياء جزءًا من برنامج عناقيد الإثراء في المدرسة. وعناقيد الإثراء مساحةٌ تعليميَّةٌ لا تخضع للتقييم، إذ يُمنح الطلبة فرصة التعلُّم بدافع المتعة والاهتمام الحقيقيِّ، ممَّا يعزِّز لديهم الدافعيَّة الداخليَّة، ويشجِّعهم على الإبداع والاستقلاليَّة. ويختار كلُّ طالبٍ عنقودًا حسب اهتماماته وميوله، وتُشكَّل مجموعاتٌ مختلفةٌ تجمع الطلبة من صفوف مختلفة.

From vintage inspiration to futuristic visions, our students took us on a journey through time at this year’s Fashion Show, titled “From the Past We Design The Future”. Entirely student-led, the event was more than a celebration of style; it reflected compassion, purpose, and the ability of creativity to inspire change and support those in need. Proceeds from the show were dedicated to underprivileged patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center.
The fashion show is part of the school’s Enrichment Clusters Program, a non-graded learning experience that allows students to explore learning through genuine interest and enjoyment. This approach nurtures intrinsic motivation while encouraging innovation and independence. Each student chooses a cluster based on their interests and passions, forming diverse groups that bring together learners from different grade levels.

مقتطفات من لقاء السيّد طارق البكريّ مع مجموعة من أولياء الأمر والطلبة. طارق هو مؤسّس مبادرة "كنّا وما وزلنا" الّتي تُعنى بالتوثيق البصريّ والرقميّ للقرى الفلسطينيّة المهجّرة. حاز البكريّ على جائزة القدس للثقافة والإبداع لعام 2018، وله زوايا شهريّة في منشورات ومطبوعات فلسطينيّة عدّة، وأقام معارض وندوات في فلسطين والوطن العربيّ وأوروبا.
Here are highlights from Mr. Tareq Al-Bakri’s meeting with a group of parents and students.
Al-Bakri is the founder of the initiative “We Were and We Still Are,” dedicated to preserving the history of depopulated Palestinian villages through visual and digital documentation.
In recognition of his cultural contributions, he received the Jerusalem Award for Culture and Creativity in 2018. He is also a regular columnist in various Palestinian publications and has presented exhibitions and led seminars in Palestine, throughout the Arab world, and in Europe.
