*Pronouncing the Letter (C) *
نطق الحرف (C)
● It is pronounced (c) if it is followed by (I, e, y),{ for example : •center •city •icy}
ينطق (س) اذا جاء بعده حرف (I,e ,y)
●It is pronounced (k) if any of the rest of the letters comes after it.
{For example: • Car •coin •cry}
يُنطق (ك) اذا جاء بعده اي حرف من باقي الحروف.
●It is pronounced (k) if it comes at the end of a word.
{For example: •picnic •fantastic •Arabic}
يُنطق (ك) اذا جاء في نهاية الكلمه.
●If it is followed by two vowels followed by a consonant, it is pronounced (sh).
{For example: •official •ocean •ancient }
اذا جاء بعد حرف (c) حرفين متحركين يليهما حرف ساكن يُنطق (ش).
●If the letter( c )is repeated in a word and is followed by (I, e, y) and a consonant is followed after these letters, the first is pronounced( k) and the second letter (c) is pronounced( c.)
{For example: •access •accident •success}
اذا تكرر حرف (c) في الكلمه وجاء بعده (i,e,y) وجاء بعد هذه الحروف حرف ساكن فإن حرف الc الاول يُنطق (ك) وحرف الc الثاني يُنطق (س).
●If the two letters (c )are followed by any letter other than the letters (i,e, y), they are pronounced( k).
{For example : •account •accurate }
اذا جاء بعد حرفي ال(c) اي حرف آخر غير (i,e,y) فيُنطقان (ك).
●The combination (sc) is pronounced (c).
{For example: •scene •scenery }
التركيبه (sc) تنطق (س)
