تم تأسيس جامعة الحسين التقنية بهدف تقديم تعليم يعزز من المهارات الإساسية والتخصصات التقنية المطلوبة لسوق العمل، وتعتبر الجامعة داعم حقيقي للتعليم المبني على العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات، وتقوم بمنح الدرجة الجامعية المتوسطة والدرجة الجامعية الإولى في مجالات الهندسة التطبيقية. وعلى صعيد المناهج فهي مطابقة لأعلى المواصفات العالمية، حيث تحرص على تقديم درجة عالية من التعليم التطبيقي والعملي الواعي للتحديات الداخلية والخارجية، وهي مصممة بشكل يعزز من روح المبادرة والعمل الفعّال والإبداع لدى الشباب، بالإضافة إلى تعزيز الطاقات الإبداعية والفكرية لهم. وتعمل الجامعة على خدمة المجتمع المحلي من خلال توفير برامج تدريب تستهدف الشباب الجامعي العاطل عن العمل، كما وتعمل على جذب إهتمام طلبة المدارس ذكوراً وإناثاً للتخصصات العلمية والعملية المطلوبة في سوق العمل المحلي والإقليمي والعالمي
Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) ,founded by The Crown prince foundation (CPF) is a higher education institution established to support Jordanian youth’s pursuit of vocational, technical and applied education. As a true advocate of STEM education, HTU works to achieve a world-leading education for young people in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The university offers technical degree and bachelor degree programs in the fields of engineering and informatics. Our hands-on curriculum is informed by industrial needs and local and global challenges. It is designed to spur innovative, problem solving, and entrepreneurial spirit among our students
Campus life centers around students’ intellectual, innovative and creative abilities. This holistic approach to education sets our graduates apart, and marks their future success. HTU serves the larger community through skill development programs that aim to refresh and advance the skills of unemployed university graduates
Our programs will focus on highly needed expertise, and aim to enhance participants’ employability as well as technical skills. Moreover, HTU plans to reach out to schools exposing girls and boys to the prospects of STEM education
