الدراسة في جامعة MMU
جامعة الوسائط المتعددة (MMU) هي جامعة خاصة في ماليزيا مع أكثر من 20،000 طالب تحتوي الجامعة 8 كليات و 13 مركز للبحوث داخل حرمي الجامعة أحدهما في سيبرجايا والاخر ميلاكا . المسافة بين الجامعتين هي 150 كيلومترا، عبر الشمال والجنوب السريع.
في عام 1994، تيليكوم ماليزيا بيرهاد، وهي أكبر شركة اتصالات في ماليزيا، قامت بإنشاء معهد للاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات (ITTM) في تايبينغ، بيراك. كان الحرم الجامعي أول مكتب في المنطقة الشمالية السابق ,حيث تم اختيار أول دفعة من 42 طالبا للخضوع لبرنامج دبلوم هندسة الاتصالات تجريبي لمدة سنتين. مع النجاح الأكاديمي للدفعتين الاولى والثانية منحت الجامعة مركز أول جامعة خاصة في ماليزيا. مع وضع الجامعة في عام 1996، والتي سميت ITTM نفسها ليونيفرسيتي تليكوم. تم إنشاء حرمين جامعيين، واحد في موقعه الأصلي في تايبينغ، بيراك، والآخر في ملاكا.
تم تعيين حرم ملاكا في عام 1997، ويقع في منطقة اير كيو ,وشمل الحرم الجامعي تحويل مبنى قديم تابعة لمكتب المنطقة الجنوبية للتيليكوم ماليزيا بيرهاد
فتح في سيبرجايا الحرم الجامعي في ماليزيا أول مدينة ذكية، سيبرجايا، في 8 تموز عام 1999.خلال السنوات الخمس الأولى من تأسيسها، نمت أعداد الطلبة في الجامعة 10،000 طالب. وتعد الجامعة هي عضو في LAOTSE، وهي شبكة دولية من الجامعات الرائدة في أوروبا وآسيا.
Multimedia University (MMU) is a private university in Malaysia with over 20,000 students .The university hosts 8 faculties and 13 research centers within two campuses, one in Cyberjaya and one in Melaka. The distance between the two campuses is 150 kilometers, via the North South Expressway.
In 1994, Telekom Malaysia Berhad, the largest telecommunications company in Malaysia, established the Institute of Telecommunication and Information Technology (ITTM) in Taiping, Perak. The first campus was Telekom Malaysia Berhad's former northern region office where the first batch of 42 students were selected to undergo an experimental 2-year telecommunication engineering diploma program. With the academic success of the 1st and 2nd batch, ITTM was awarded the first private university status in Malaysia. With the university status in 1996, ITTM renamed itself to Universiti Telekom. Two campuses were established, one in its original location in Taiping, Perak and the other in Melaka.
The Melaka campus was set up in 1997 and is located in the Ayer Keroh district, the setting up of the campus involved converting an old building belonging to the Telekom Malaysia Berhad's southern region office.
Its Cyberjaya campus opened in Malaysia's first intelligent city, Cyberjaya, on 8 July 1999.
Within the first five years of its founding, the university's student population grew beyond 10,000.
The university is a member of LAOTSE, an international network of leading universities in Europe and Asia.
