📣 New Program Annoucement! Launching this fall!
Dar Jacir and Al Quds Bard College come together for No Masters / بلا سادة , a year-long filmmaking program curated by filmmaker Annemarie Jacir and created in collaboration with Laura Menchaca Ruiz. Bringing together students, artists, and community participants, the program unfolds through a series of female-led masterclasses by professionals working across cinema. Grounded in collaborative practice and creative exchange, the program guides participants through the filmmaking process from research and story development to cinematography, editing, color, and sound. Through workshops, film screenings, artist talks and residencies, participants explore the power of storytelling through cinema.
Dar Jacir co-founder Annemarie Jacir has premiered films in Berlin, Venice, Cannes, Locarno and Toronto. All four of her feature films were selected as Palestine’s Oscar entries. With a commitment to mentoring, training, and hiring locally, Annemarie actively promotes independent cinema in the region.
📣 إعلان عن برنامج جديد! ينطلق هذا الخريف!
تلتقي دار جاسر وكلية القدس بارد في برنامج "بلا سادة / No Masters"، وهو برنامج سينمائي يمتد على مدار عام كامل، من تأليف المخرجة أنماري جاسر وبالتعاون مع لورا مينتشاكا رويز. يجمع البرنامج الطلاب والفنانين والمشاركين من المجتمع، ويتكشّف من خلال سلسلة من الدروس الاحترافية التي تقودها نساء من المتخصصين في مجال السينما. انطلاقاً من ممارسة تعاونية وتبادل إبداعي، يرشد البرنامج المشاركين عبر مراحل صناعة الفيلم، من البحث وتطوير القصة إلى التصوير السينمائي والمونتاج وضبط الألوان والصوت. من خلال ورش العمل وعروض الأفلام ومحادثات الفنانين والإقامات الفنية، يستكشف المشاركون قوة السرد القصصي عبر السينما.
أنماري جاسر، المؤسسة المشاركة لدار جاسر، عرضت أفلامها في مهرجانات برلين والبندقية وكان ولوكارنو وتورنتو. وقد اختيرت أفلامها الروائية الأربعة لتمثّل فلسطين في ترشيحات جائزة الأوسكار. وبالتزامها بالإرشاد والتدريب والتوظيف على المستوى المحلي، تعمل أنماري بنشاط على تعزيز السينما المستقلة في المنطقة.
