We’re Hiring | Executive Assistant to the Dean – International Accreditation & Quality Assurance Coordinator
Business School | Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU), Jordan
AAU is seeking an organised, proactive and detail-oriented professional for a key position reporting directly to the Dean.
The role combines executive support with responsibility for coordinating the Business School’s international accreditation, quality assurance, professional certifications and related quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate international accreditation, including AACSB, FIBAA, EQUIS, AMBA and other relevant frameworks.
• Follow up on specialised certifications, programme reviews and quality requirements.
• Maintain trackers, timelines, action plans, evidence profiles and progress reports.
• Coordinate with departments, programme leaders, faculty, committees and University units to ensure requirements are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain electronic and physical filing and evidence systems, including document control and archiving.
• Ensure the Business School remains documentation-ready throughout the year.
• Coordinate field visits, virtual reviews, external evaluations and accreditation panels.
• Coordinate documents, evidence, data and responses requested by external reviewers and follow up on actions.
• Supervise designated administrative staff.
• Prepare reports, presentations, briefing papers and executive summaries for the Dean.
• Provide executive support on strategic and operational priorities.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Quality Management or a relevant field.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Relevant experience, preferably in higher education, business schools, quality assurance or international academic standards.
• Experience with international accreditation, professional certification or institutional reviews is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisational, managerial, analytical, documentation and follow-up skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and confidence working with senior management, academics and external reviewers.
• Strong digital, document-management and reporting skills.
The successful candidate must be flexible, responsive and able to work under pressure, including beyond traditional working hours during accreditation submissions, evaluations and critical periods.
